With the projection, which concludes with the powerful message "Oil is War and Green is Peace", Greenpeace Netherlands calls on the government to impose an extra tax on the war profits of oil and gas companies. According to Greenpeace, the proceeds should be used to compensate lower-income households for their energy bills and to accelerate the transition to solar and wind energy in order to end the dependency on fossil fuel industry.
De actie vindt plaats aan de vooravond van het Tweede Kamerdebat over de hoge brandstofprijzen. Met de projectie, die eindigt met de krachtige boodschap "Oil is War and Green is Peace", roept Greenpeace de overheid op om de oorlogswinsten van olie- en gasbedrijven extra te belasten. Volgens Greenpeace moet de opbrengst gebruikt worden om de energierekening voor lagere inkomens te compenseren en de overstap naar zon- en windenergie te versnellen, om zo de afhankelijkheid van de fossiele industrie te beëindigen.
